Summary
The text you type or paste into our tools is processed in your own browser and is never sent to us. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they use. We do not show advertising and do not sell personal data.
Text You Enter in Our Tools
All tools on WordCounter.biz (word counter, character counter, alphabetizer, letter counter and the others) run entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Your text is not uploaded to our servers or to anyone else.
To keep your work if you reload the page, some tools save your text and settings in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device. You can remove it by clicking Clear in the tool or by clearing your browser's site data.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to measure visits. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location (derived from your IP address), and your browser, device and operating system. This information is sent to and processed by Google. We use the aggregated reports to see which tools are useful and to improve the site. Google Analytics does not receive the text you enter in our tools.

Server Logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and request details to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you and do not add you to any mailing list.
Advertising
WordCounter.biz does not currently display advertising or use advertising cookies.
Children
The site does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The tools can be used without giving any personal information.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or to object to its processing. Because we do not ask for personal information to use the tools, we usually hold none apart from emails you send us. Contact us to make a request.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
